Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I ordered them on April 28th and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
How expensive are they?
I snagged a pair for $385.43, though they usually retail for around $513.91.

Do they fit as expected?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.
Are they comfortable?
They required minimal break-in time..
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
These are the best sneakers I own. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They have a hidden arch lift that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Would you buy again?
Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.

How is the fit?
I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair. They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up a size
How comfy are they?
They felt good right away. No-show socks help with the break-in period, especially since my feet get sweaty. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Also, they’re already distressed so your feet just slide in.
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong.
Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
